It's official, Garmin announced its new modelode GPS (GPSMAP 62) which is expected to be launched in July 2010.
3 lines will be different: 62, 62s and 62st
The new series GPSMAP 62 is a fusion of the best capabilities of the Garmin Oregon line with many of the features of the series 60. The three models announced this morning include:
Garmin GPSMAP 62 base model (1.7 GB internal memory) Garmin GPSMAP 62S
axis electronic compass, barometric altimeter and wireless data exchange (1.7 GB internal memory)
Garmin Add GPSMAP 62st preloaded U.S. topographic map (500 MB internal memory available and the rest is used by the map that comes loaded)
The 62 series will have the ability to load custom maps and aerial images.
This series used the same mounting system is in Colorado, Dakota and Oregon series.
The interface seems to be the same as the Garmin GPSMAP 78.

2000 200 routes waypoints
200 tracks of 10.000 points each
